Who in the hell in this day and age thinks they can bring a piece to the airport? I'm nervous to bring nail clippers. I could get cavity searched. Ok, maybe I should bring nail clippers. Actor Dennis Farina, most recently of NBC's Law & Order, got busted at LAX for carrying an unregistered, loaded firearm.
"Farina was very apologetic and cooperative with officers," police said. "However, he had no apparent authority to carry a concealed weapon at the time of his arrest." No shit. Farina claims he had forgotten he had it on him. Forgetting that you're carrying a loaded pistol is good.
Farina was being held at a Van Nuys jail on $35,000 bail. Farina, a former Chicago cop, is currently in the flick What Happens In Vegas with Ashton Kutcher and Cameron Diaz. Maybe the gun was for a suicide attempt, then. I kid, I kid!
