Here's some snaps of the fiery-hot Julianne Moore at the premiere of Blindness at the Cannes Film Festival. The movie is about what happens one day when everyone in a town wakes up blind. Except for Julianne. That sounds all sorts of depressing. Though who wouldn't want the beautiful Julianne Moore as their seeing-eye movie star?

One reviewer referred to the film as "a wrist-slitting nightmare about tedious next-door neighbours who are forced to shelve their ethnic, social, and sexual differences when the entire world suddenly comes to a grinding halt." Remind me to see this one when I'm hungover and depressed. It sounds like they'll be sponging my blood off the walls.

Blindness is one of the most awsomest books out there. Talk about gritty.
everyone should read it. (well, every adult)

Thanks, but I've already read it. Back when it was called "Day of the Triffids". Seriously, can no one have an original idea anymore? And do plagiarizers always get away with this shit if it makes publishers enough money (looking at YOU J.K. Rowling, with your "Muggles" and whatnot)?!

Um, Um, that's crazy talk. If you've actually read Blindness you would see if has very little in common with Day of the Triffids, other than, well, blindness.

i read Blindness by Jose Amarago and it sucked. it sucked so much that i am to this day pissed that i paid full-price for it instead of buying it at the half-price book store. it was just a poorly written book. the idea behind it was very intriguing but the author did not deliver at all. not even Julianne Moore can get me to believe in this movie. and i love me some Julianne.

tennischick, your ignorance is amazing. First of all, the writer's name is José Saramago, not Amarago or whatever! Second, he's a Nobel prize winner. And third, you should stick to Hello magazine as for reading, it is obvious you can't stand more profound litterature. Just ridiculous, you can't even spell the writer's name!!
