Look, it's Shiloh! You never see her out! She's adorable. No wonder why Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie keep her under wraps. It's too much cute for the world to bear. Here's Brad and Angie with Shiloh, Maddox and Shiloh's doll shopping at Bonpoint in Cannes. Brad's looking sorta grizzled lately. He's letting himself age, which is probably a good thing. It's not like he's not going to be getting the roles. Sean Connery worked up until he was 2,320.
Angelina is determined to have the kids speak French as their second language.
"French is a second language in our house," she says. "Being here is very good for their language skills."
Brad's not that quick on the language skills uptake. He's having some difficulty.
"I've been learning French,' he says. 'But the kids are doing it too - and they are better than me." Just take off the sunglasses and gesture emphatically. You're Brad Pitt, you can probably take over the palace at Versailles with nary a word and they'd merely shrug and throw roses. Angelia already graced them with the holy nipple shot. It's really all that was required. It was like the opening of the Ark of the Covenant!

It's too bad she didn't learn french before she incorrectly named her girl baby Shiloh Nouvel. French uses masculine and feminine words. As stupid as the name is, it should be Nouvelle.

I knew someone would be catty about the French thing...I am sure she knew, she is half French after all. Even if she hadn't known, I am sure her mom would have pointed it out.

her mother is of french-canadian descent, but was born in the US.

She is not half French and having a mother who is half French Canadian would automatically mean that she knows the proper spelling of a French word. Geez.
That being said, I'm sure they named their child and spelled her name the way they did for a reason.
