On her recent interview on the View, Whoopi Goldberg calls out Denise Richards, saying that Charlie Sheen's ex claims she wants to protect her children and keep her personal life private, but then goes and gets herself a reality show where she puts all her business out there.
Denise Richards defends herself by saying that her daughters's presence in the show is "minimal" and mentions other reality TV series that feature young children (Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Life in the Fab Lane, Jon and Kate Plus 8 - um lady, you best not compare yourself to my beloved TLC show because my dear you are no Kate Gosselin). And then the other View ladies blow some smoke up Denise's ass for a bit and Elisabeth Hasselbeck provides the cherry on top when she thanks Denise for being "so honest." Blurg.
Denise manages to play the "my mother died of cancer" card in every interview I've see her do for the show. I didn't know that if a parent of yours dies tragically, you get a reality show. First Bindi Irwin and now this chick. Fascinating.
Meanwhile, Charlie's no better than this crazy bitch, promptly releasing a statement after Denise's claim that the email his girlfriend says she received from Denise, requesting a donation of Charlie's sperm was a fake. Sheen denied that he was a "liar," and said, "The mere fact that she continues to publicly discuss and harass both Brooke and me three years after our separation, which for the record is longer than the actual length of the marriage, is beyond desperate and speaks volumes."
Great. These two are busy making two little Denises, with all of their public shenanigans. The world thanks you both.

First off, Denise claims that she's not planting horror stories about Charlie in the press. Well, someone is and Denise has the most to gain by doing it so I call BS on that.
Secondly, Whoopi showed masterful restraint when she called Denise a hypocrite (w/out using the word "hypocrite"). And Denise Richards is a big hypocrite, no question. I love how Whoopi Goldberg got to the point calmly and respectfully.

I think Denise has really gotten a bum rap on this whole fiasco. Divorce is a private matter but unfortunately when you are famous, private documents, such as divorce papers, and are considered public record means anyone can obtain them and print them on the internet, which is exactly what happened. Charlie has bad mouthed her in the press the last three years and not until recently has Denise said anything publically. I wish her nothing but the best.
