We had a little bit of a hot spell out here in Los Angeles, so that might be why Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross has decided to go short for the summer. She hit up the hair guru and best friend of Eva Longoria, Ken Paves, and was spotted here rocking a shorter, darker do.
Granted, it could be a wig, but either way, I think it looks great. If you look at these pics, Marcia really seems to love it, flipping her tresses around and giving subtle smiles to the paparazzi.

Wig, definitely. Marcia Cross doesn't have that much hair naturally.
She looks MUCH better as a brunette than a redhead. The darker hair takes about 10 years off her face.

Yep, it's a wig. Her hair is peeking out from under her 'do. It's probably for something like that stupid Ashton Kutcher show or was going to a costume party dressed as Stepford wife Katie Holmes. The color looks good on her though, gotta say.
