Seriously, there has been nothing but bad buzz on this piece. Mark Wahlberg stars as a science teacher (HAH!) faced with the end of the world in M. Night Shyamalan's new flick The Happening. And M. isn't talking about the film, there have been little to no advance screenings, and clips of Mark Wahlberg's performance look like a high school production of Man of La Mancha has lost a cast member.
The PR team is reportedly claiming that there's a veil of secrecy around the film because they don't want to spoil one of M. Night's patented twist endings. Another school of thought says that they don't show movies that suck so they can still sell tickets. Draw your own conclusions.
