The Chinese media has lashed out against Sharon Stone for comments she made at Cannes. She's been dropped from Christian Dior's Chinese advertorials for musing that the Chinese government's rulership of Tibet is what caused the earthquake in China last week that killed almost 100,000. Yeah, because I'm sure all of the Chinese schoolchildren that were buried alive had a lot to do with Tibet. This bitch needs to shut her yap.
Chinese media agency Xinhua News labeled Stone a "public enemy of all mankind". And Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang said that "we hope that as an actress she should contribute to our two peoples' mutual trust, understanding and friendship," he said.
Supercrazycougar Stone has issued a public apology to the people of China and offered to aid in relief efforts due to the earthquake.
"Due to my inappropriate words and acts during the interview, I feel deeply sorry and sad about hurting Chinese people," she said in the statement.
"I am willing to take part in the relief work of China's earthquake, and wholly devote myself to helping affected Chinese people."
Despite her apology, Dior will no longer be featuring her in their ads in China. Damn, what's she gonna do for animal print money now?
