Yay! My boyfriend Robert Downey Jr. won big for his action flick Iron Man at the MTV Movie Awards this weekend. And when I saw the smoke down the street from Universal City (where they held the awards), I should have known that it was because both Robert and Johnny Depp were in the room at the same time. Of course Universal Studios was on fire.
Host for the event, Mike Myers reunited with his Wayne's World compadre Dana Carvey. Wayne and Garth read off their list of top ten porn titles, finishing off (pun intended) with Iron Man and I couldn't agree more.
Seth Rogan and James Franco pretended (or did they?) to smoke weed onstage and it's unclear whether or not they were faking it, but MTV was unsure enough to keep a wide angle shot of the two until they walked offstage. It was apparent how much recovering addict Robert Downey Jr. appreciated their stoner antics from a reaction shot taken during the stunt.
Another surprise came when the ever-reclusive Johnny Depp arrived to accept his golden popcorn trophy. Depp told the audience, "I'm not a very funny person. I'm not even remotely funny." Oh Johnny -- that's so irrelevant. Le sigh.

I could not have said it better. Although RDJ could start that fire all on his hot, sexy own.

Robert & Johnny...mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Yep, I noticed that reaction shot of RDJ's too and thought the same thing! I once read an article where RDJ says his dad would pass him a joint at 10! So, I seriously doubt he likes seeing that shit on a youth-oriented show.
Stoners are so lame. Why are they still making stoner movies, anyway? Go rent "Up in Smoke" -- you will never top it!
