Ne-Yo went to court on Monday to sort out his reckless driving charge from February as well as the charge of driving without a Georgia license. In what sounds like it was a pretty simple procedure, the R&B singer pleaded no contest. As a result, he was sentenced to 24 hours of community service, fined $1,000 and is required to perform a concert for the Boys & Girls Club.
In an interview with the Atlanta Journal Constitution, he chatted about his upcoming court date, "They're trying to make me put on that little orange vest and pick up trash. . . . I'm hoping I can take a class or something. I hope we can work it out soon." And it sounds like it did. And Ne-Yo lived happily ever after.
The end.
