Tony Romo has finally spoken out about rumors that Jessica Simpson's father, Joe Simpson, has been the one causing the rift between his eldest daughter and the Dallas Cowboy. He released a statement to People, blowing off the gossip. According to Romo, "It's all laughable.'
Romo claims that any talk that he and Joe Simpson are on the outs is "so far from the truth." Earlier this year, Romo and Joe actually went to a Masters golf tournament in Augusta, Georgia and a source confirmed to the magazine that Tony "had a great time." But then again, Tony really seems to like golf.
Most recently, (and in these pictures) Romo attended a double-date in Encino, California at Chili's with newlyweds Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz. A spy revealed, "Jess was giggling and grabbing onto Tony. They were both very natural and sweet with each other." I guess Tony's still coming on over.
