It seems to me that sometimes David Letterman acts like he's phoning it
in, just sort of coasting until he can retire and make fun of
celebrities from his couch. But in his interview with Spencer Pratt,
something in Dave snapped to attention and had him ribbing the blonde
reality star/"entrepreneur."
It started with Dave calling Spencer a "dope on the show" and asking him if he was really such a douche in real life. Ha! Go Dave! Somebody took his multivitamin this morning and we're all reaping the benefits.
Dave basically pointed out that Pratt looked to be he one on the show causing any and all problems and then went on to ask the Alex P. Keaton wananbe how he ended up on The Hills. And then it occurred to Dave to ask, "How'd you get on this show, as a matter of fact?"
While Spencer explained what it is he "does for a living," (besides shit like this)the audience very politely (but just barely) kept from laughing as Pratt listed off the names of his artists he "manages" who are, according to him, the future Jay-Z and Michael Jackson. Well, if they have half as much talent as the Incredible Singing Turkey Heidi Montag, that Spencer has a long and successful career ahead of him.

i dont think they see it at all. they are part of the hollywood machine and they think that they can do anything and it is golden and trend setting. sadly it is to some degree. i love how this guy says he gets no less than 100,000$ for showing up at a club. hahhahaha.... too bad i spent most of my life learning skills that are somewhat productive and never thought of charging for me showing up at places. i wonder if i can get payed retroactively from starbucks for all the time i wasted in there!

Does this mean Spencer gets to commit crimes like other "well-connected" talentless nobodies who make a living in Hollywood just because Jews high up are looking over our congressmen's shoulders and reading every single piece of paper that comes past any congressman's desk? You know, like when I write my congressman, Spencer's Isreali Lobby contacts are reading what I've written about and have learned what I want, such as my Constitutional rights enforced?
Who else gets to spy over our congressmen's shoulders and read all letters on that "representative and public servant's" desk? Does Iran have a lobbyist who reads my letters to my congressmen? Does Britian, China, Russia and Mexico also have lobbyists reading the letters that I've written to my congressman or do only Israelis have this SPECIAL privileges?
Question: How many foreign spies is any congressman allowed in his office at one time "lobbying" for a foreign nation?

I'm sure Dave has some say in who is booked on the show. But the show is a business. The producers (yes, I know that he is one of the producers) will book people who are considered to be relevant in show business right now. Now, in my opinion, these two idiots are far from relevant. But apparently, many people think they are. I think Dave handled it in true Dave Letterman fasion. Dave knew that Spencer is no match for his wit and sarcasm, so he used that to his advantage. And Spencer was clueless.
