At the Peabody Awards at the Waldorf-Astoria, Heidi Klum channeled
Veronica Lake with her retro-glam hair . Leslie Stahl acted as host for
the event, stepping in for the recently deceased Tim Russert. So sad.
For those of you who don't know, the Peabody Awards are awarded by the University of Georgia (most specifically by the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication). Why am I telling you this? Because it's a cheap way for me to give my alma mater a shout-out. Go Dawgs. Sic 'em and all that jazz.
Meanwhile, let's get back to Heidi and her multitude of faces, which clearly are making her the star of the show. I love how expressive she is on and off the red carpet. I'd love to play her in a round of Taboo. I have a feeling it would be a good opportunity to hear her cuss in German.

wow lisa --i'm a california girl now, but that's where i'm from :) my folks still live about 40 minutes from athens. they still having loving, longing feelings for vince dooley.... you dawgs fans are NUTS! lol spend any time 'tween the hedges?! i'm way older than you and still remember the rem days at 40 watt w/the b52's as their opener. or so I sort of hazily recall lol seriously tho, that J school is tremendous.

I'm sure I'll get attacked for this, but I've never found Heidi all that attractive. Don't get me wrong, I think she's really cute and darling, but I would not pick her out of a crowd of models. Then again, I tend to be attracted to dark hair and dark skin, so I guess I'm not the best judge.
