and briann.... is bree-ann, right? not bry-un -- like a boy's name? what happened to the 'e' on the end of that name?

Gee, another unwed mother with little or no education has a baby. Thankfully most of the Disney money she made is in trust and she'll be able to care for herself and her baby(s). Way to go JL, congrats on becoming an adult way to soon.

AND Maddie i think is a really cute name, it's short and sweet. My sisters name is Carrie.... not short for anything... So Maddie is a fine name to me

and since the parents are divorced, I think that it was, in fact, the mother who had the most influence on Jamie Lynn.

K, a girl in her position SHOULD have known better than to get knocked up... but she did get her high school diploma a year early, and was seen checking out college campuses. Even smart girls can make stupid choices. You don't need to be an uneducated hick to get pregnant.

I don't like Jamie Lyn but the names she chose are great.

I dont understand why people are making such a big deal about this. 17 year olds have babies every day..and its never an issue until jamie lynn gets pregnant? Im actually really proud of her. not for getting pregnant but taking responsibility for what she did. she got engaged, and bought a house. she's trying to give her baby the most normal life possible. not that we know what is normal these days. She stayed out of california..and went back home to make sure she stays healthy. And she also got her GED and is looking out colleges. Give her a break..she's going to be a great mom. even if she is a teenage mom.and im sure that if any of you were in her possition, you wouldnt be able to do half the things she's trying to do to give her baby a good life. I give her props..hope she's doing well after delivering her baby. And Maddie Briann is a beautiful name. That is soo ignorent to go and say that she doesnt know how to spell or she doesnt know how to pick names, people spell their kid's name's different because it means something to them..and they could care less what anyone else thinks.im not trying to be a bitch or anything, but give the girl a break.
