It's not exactly the most surprising news to find out that British songstress and crack/wig aficionado Amy Winehouse is suffering from some health problems at the moment. We all remember that nasty bit of impetigo/face-burning or whatever it was that Amy went through not that long ago. Initial reports that were circulating that she had TB.
However, Mitch Winehouse claims that doctors have told him his daughter is suffering from emphysema and that if she doesn't start taking care of herself, she might be forced to wear an oxygen mask for the rest of her life, just to survive. But who knows? Maybe she has TB too. I'd be more shocked to hear of a disease she probably doesn't have. You that's a short list.
Taken to the hospital for treatment last week, Mitch revealed to the Daily Mail how dire Amy's condition became before she received this recent medical attention. "With smoking the crack cocaine and the cigarettes her lungs are all gunked up. There are nodules around the chest and dark marks. She's got 70 per cent lung capacity," Amy's frustrated father told the British paper.

not surprising, no. but still sad that a girl of this age could have emphysema. ouch. that's ALOT of crack and nicotine. at least she could keep her oxygen tank in her beehive... fairly unobtrusive, as beehive hidden oxygen tanks go.

The spam here is ridiculous, it's not that hard to fix either.
When you have a chest cold your lung capacity is at 70%, it's not that big of a deal. All of this is her enabling father's hysteria, if she has limited lung function, and it's permanent, she's not going to be able to sing live, but still record. I think he's more worried about the pay cheques going away, or they would have gotten her help a year ago. She needed addiction treatment over 2 years ago. Stop crying and looking for pity - he did nothing to help her.
