The whole baby wearing thing is great but when driving any kind of vehicle the kid should go in the back in a carseat.

Boo! That's not only unsafe, it's illegal. That child needs to be in a rear-facing, non-expired, properly-used infant seat in the back seat of the vehicle-- and he needs to be wearing his seatbelt.
