Gwen and hubby Gavin Rossdale took their son Kingston to the park. They picked up food to go from a restaurant and had a picnic along with Kingston's nanny. The two-year-old shared secrets with Gwen and played on the swing before the family made the very long walk home.
It won't be long before Kingston meets his new sibling. He really needs a friend to play with at the park, and who better than a baby brother or sister?

Am I the only one who thinks it's a little weird when celebs spend supposed family time with the nanny? What the hell is the nanny doing carrying Kingston when his two perfectly able-bodied parents are right there? I guess I just live on a totally different planet than the Rossdale-Stefani's, because really, I can't even imagine having a nanny much less one who'd take my kids to the park with me.

I am not sure where you live but here in my neighborhood there are more stay-at-home-moms with nannies than without. I think it varies among socio-economic classes.

If the nanny is being paid there's no reason she can't tag along. She can change a diaper, push a swing. What if they had to run off and have the baby? Geez, ya think she should just sit at home and watch soaps?

Them spending time with a nanny isn't weird at all. Think about the fact that we're here looking at pictures of them someone tracked them down to take. Gwen & Gavin don't know what they may be presented with when in public, and I think it's wise and prudent to bring someone along in case the child must be wisked away from a strange scene etc. When are people going to learn that celebs live a different life than we do, and one where bodyguards and nanny's go with the territory?

and who DOESN'T have a nanny now a days?
and if they brought a nanny from the US (which i think they did because ive seen photos of them with her before) why would they just leave her alone at home when they go out?
