Bless his heart, the Aerosmith frontman has admitted that his recent
trip to rehab wasn't just to allow him time and space to recover from
his foot surgery in a "safe environment." Steven Tyler has admitted
that he had developed an addiction to sleep and pain meds as a result
of his foot surgery and that's why he checked himself into treatment.
We kind of all figured that's what was going on, but now Tyler has officially admitted to his real reason for treatment, chatting with the Associated Press. He said, "To have your feet done, to have your leg done, you have to be on narcotics. You have to be on sleep aids at night. I don't know about Joe (Perry) but I was off and running and I didn't like the me that was me."
Well, I hope he's doing all right. He's a lovable nut, who has the ability to drive nuns wild.

Shocking! I called this one a long time ago.
So to have surgery, one now needs sleep aids? I've never heard of that before! Usually the pain killers prescribed put you to sleep. Sounds like Steven is making excuses.
