Will Smith's "not Scientology" school
will be studying yoga, etiquette, and math but they will also be
studying a lot of global policy as well. According to the school's
mission statement the students will, "recycle plastic bottles at 10
cents per bottle. Once we have $100 (1,000 bottles) we have enough
money to buy a goat for a village in Africa, which can ensure the
survival of this village."
Well that sounds like something good to instill in the children. But, a Fox reporter visited such a village in Africa and when a tour guide was asked what the children needed most he said, "a school."
Ironic, isn't it? There are plenty of places in the U.S. for children to get a good education. Maybe Will should build the school in Africa instead and take the current homeschoolers there on a little vacay to really learn about how they can make a difference.

Not even a poor village in Africa deserves a Cult of Scientology school. Better no school than indoctrination into a brainwashing, evil cult. What they could use instead is clean water, electricity, medicine, and a real school. Educate yourself about the criminal cult of Scientology. a couple of years ago, the smiths had just returned from a visit to south africa proclaiming their intention to move their family there. because they're african, ya know...
never did happen. wonder if the rampant crime and extreme poverty had something to do with it.

I am sorry but I love this family. The kids are just too cute and just the right amount (read age appropriate) sass. That said, I don't know where intern traci lives but there is always room for one more school even in the US. I mean, even some of the schools in the suburbs are failing. So, my hat off to them. I would love to start a charter school. I have my ideas about how children can (happily-willingly) learn too...I just don't have the money or the time. As for scientologist..yes they are batty but isn't all organized religion...I mean come on the stories in the bible are no less fantastical than the scientology book (not sure what it is called) At least they are not marrying young girls to old coots and making them have sex in the back of the church!
