Alex Rodriguez's wife Cynthia Rodriguez filed for divorce this morning in Miami. The papers cite affairs with women, although none are named. The baseball star has been recently linked to Madonna, and Cynthia has also been rumored to be having an affair with rocker Lenny Kravitz.
Madonna has denied being romantically linked to Alex, but Cynthia's lawyer claims that their affair was "the final straw." According to the filing, "The marriage of the parties is irretrievably broken because of the Husband's extra marital affairs and other marital conduct."
It sounds as there was a race between the couple to get divorce papers filed, as Alex was to file his own papers today citing Cynthia's reluctance to fix their marriage. Looks like Cynthia beat the all-star athlete.
