magazine that he would love for his career to mimic that of actor Matt
Damon's. "I want to be like Matt Damon and do a hugely successful
thinking-man's action franchise like Bourne," he said.
The actor is currently promoting Wanted, where he costars and makes out with Angelina Jolie. I get a gut feeling that deep down Matt Damon probably wouldn't mind trading places with the kid.

To tony the tiger: Wanted did not bomb at all, in fact it exceeded all expectations in the U.S. box office, taking over 50 million dollars in its opening weekend, very good for an R-rated movie. In fact, it was the third biggest opening for R-rated action film EVER. Also, Angelina's biggest hit to date.
I completely agree with you Lilith, James is a legend already. His talent and charisma shines through ever in average movies and he can do no wrong.

Also, James never actually said that he wanted to be like Matt Damon. You guys have completely misquoted him. I've read the article and he never says it at all. The writer of the article "guesses" that is what studio execs are thinking of him. Why don't you check your sources again next time?
