Anyway, festival organizers received an e-mail at the last minute saying that "due to unforeseen circumstances, the red-carpet arrivals . . . have been canceled." That's cryptic.
"Outrageous! How can [Seyfried] diss the gays like that? This is our movie!," a festival source said. Whoa, nelly! Settle down! Have a cocktail! It's not that crucial.
Apparently, Amanda did show up to introduce the movie, so I'm not sure what the all the caniptions were about. People are so friggin' testy.

I was there for this! There was no red carpet that I saw, and everyone was really excited when she came flowing down the aisle and gave a short intro to the movie. She was beautiful, charming and totally captivated the entire room.

Amazing! She is very popular with beautiful people and wealthy singles at Richromances.com. I guess she gets many winks per day... Good luck! My queen!

I frickin love Meryl Streep. LOVE. (Is it wrong that I find her- in her advanced years even- still kinda sexy in the previews. I know, eww. ewww.)
Anyhoo, I have thought this little girl was SO FRICKIN cute for years. This role was made for her! I CANT WAIT TO SEE THE MOVIE!

Page Six is such bullshit. I was there. Amanda Seyfried was there for the first screening. She was adorable and gracious!
Garan Grey says:
I was also there at the screening, too - as press. Publicists made it plain to me days in advance that there was no red carpet, nothing was expected of Amanda except that she might show up. She was in street clothes with no makeup, clearly not expecting any media attention. There was no red carpet. She came onstage, made a charming introduction, and even got a laugh when she praised her gay managers! No one is pissed at her. Everyone adored her. Page Six is crap.
