I love reading blog comments. It's really pathetic actually. The nasty comments. The hate. These two are very pretty girls. I think it's great that Heidi learned how to shoot a gun. I hope she is intelligent enough to care about politics whether she is Democrat or Republican. I don't hear too much bashing from these liberal blogs when Bragelina does something political. Or when George Clooney voices his thoughts. Or any number of celebrities with an opinion.

I haven't read too much intelligent stuff on these blogs where politics and government is concerned. It's just hate for the sake of hate. I very much doubt that supporters of either candidate have a clue how they will really affect their lives. All they hear from Obama is "change". Super. You may not like Bush's policies but it can be worse. All you folks under 40 are about to be burdened with a federal debt and deficit load that is going to shock you. And both candidates seem more than willing to keep on spending. The baby boomers have stuck us with an unbelievable mess. And they aren't willing to stop the tax and spend. Your leaders have failed you. Both Repubs and Dems.

This country is in such unbelievable trouble when the best we have to run this country is Obama or McCain. You can vote for change but you are kidding yourself if you believe either one of these candidates are good for his country. I don't think we could have hand picked lesser qualified men if we were blindfolded.

Sandy, you can't believe for a second that Obama is anti-American. Even if he is, he's only the President. The Congress makes the laws. Even if he was a fundamental Muslim, I seriously doubt any Democrat or Republican is going to let that man somehow destroy this country. The American people won't stand for it. Democrat or Republican.

There are a lot of great places in this world to live. I hope those that think it's better in other countries will go ahead and find out. Best to get those that are part of the problem out of the way for those that want to be part of the solution in this country.

chris-there is a distinct difference between a moron like Heidi Montag getting involved in politics just for the publicity and someone like CLooney who has done this for years and doesn't need a camera there to capture pictures of it.

Now, as far as their looks, I don't care. But pandering to the youth through a loser like Montag is a desparate measure on McCain's behalf. At least find someone who geniunely supports you and can talk issues with other young people to get them interested. Not just get your name linked on gossip sites to a Faux Reality Show whore.

They are all opportunists. They are all disgusting and pathetic. Maybe Heidi will actually amount to something. They all started somewhere. Seems pretty bold of her to stand up and support a Republican when 95% of people in entertainment (it seems) support Democrats and their agendas. McCain and Obama are both losers (which makes us in this country losers). They are both politicians and will do and say whatever they think will get them elected. I'm not certain if Heidi is a whore or not. To call her out for being a media whore, if that is what you refer to, is ridiculous considering the 2-3,000+ actors in Hollywood and NY all do the same thing. They crave attention and spotlight. Not to mention thousands of other people across this county who whore themselves out for attention via the news, Internet and other media outlets.
Yes Americans can be stupid. Many are. Most have no idea what it is they are voting for. Many can't even give a reason to vote for Obama other than they like that he is going to change things. And they have no idea what that means. That is pathetic. If people really want meaningful change they should look at who is representing them in Congress. Many have no idea. Those knuckleheads are the ones making the changes in this country. They write the laws. And the collective of them has an approval rating lower than the President. The Dems promised change during the last election. Remember? I do. The only things that has changed on their watch (the President's too) is a declining dollar, energy and food prices escalating, horrible monetary policy, tax policies that favor the super rich, pandering to the environmentalists who won't allow this country to create a means to get out of a horrible energy mess we find ourselves in, etc. etc.
Yes this country needs change. We need to remove 535 opportunists in Congress and one in the White House and start over the way our founding fathers intended.

I completely agree with you about our Congress. I also think that for positive change to occur in this country, it has to be at grassroots level; and that educating ourselves is our most powerful tool to promote a change of direction. Ignorance is no longer bliss...
