Expecting father Clay Aiken has decided to reach out to African
children and is teaming up with UNICEF to raise awareness about the
children's issues faced by youngsters in Kenya.
The American Idol runner-up has been blogging on the international organization's website after a recent visit to both Somalia and Kenya, bringing up the issue of education for the children who have have yet to feel safe enough to return back to school after the unrest caused by the recent election.
Aiken writes, "The re-establishment of schools in the most difficult circumstances is a testament to the commitment of UNICEF and to Kenyans."
Good for him, with his magic baby-making self. At least he's blogging about something worthwhile, unlike some people I know. Oh yes, and some people who happen to be me.
