Great. Does this mean I have to be nice to this brain trust? Jessica Simpson reveals in the September issue of Elle that she was abused.
One of the songs on her new country album (oh here we go), "Remember That", is about some sort of abuse.
"It doesn't matter how he hurts you / With his hands or with his words / You don't deserve it / It ain't worth it / Take your heart and run," are how the lyrics go.
She wouldn't elaborate who it was or what happened.
"I don't want to talk about it, but I have definitely experienced abuse in a way that I would tell people to take their heart and run," she told the interviewer.
If this is a publicity stunt, bitch should be shot. Is she throwing Nick Lachey's beefy ass under a bus to sell records. If it's true. the only viable suspect is her diddly father, Papa Joe Simpson. He would make anybody take their heart and run. And arm themselves with pistols. And install security systems. Seriously, if I was a prepubescent girl, I'd feel safer with Roman Polanski.

She didn't even write the song! If you look she doesn't have a writing credit on it. It was written by other people and this is probably some stupid publicity stunt. If it is, she's taking away from all of the people that have actually suffered.

ABUSE? MY ASS. This her latest stunt to get sympathy for dumping and hurting her poor husband, Nick. She is a narcissist and I'm glad Nick escaped her messed up life. If she was really abused, she and her Dad would have made sure the world would have known about it. The way she eludes to it in the article hints of her and Daddy's troublemaking.
