Anyway, Shia's Transformers 2 director Michael Bay is standing behind his star. He's saying that, despite the observation of LAPD offices on the scene, Shia wasn't drunk and they will just work around his hand.
"His two fingers are pretty mashed, but we're figuring out a way to shoot around it, kind of write it in the story," Bay says.
"You're gonna see -- that's gonna go away," Bay said of the DUI charge. "He was not drunk. He was drinking hours and hours before."
As long as his big robots that are also cars get back on the big screen. I seriously need to move to LA. You can do anything there, and someone will excuse it if there's enough money riding on you. As long as your movie has a Burger King tie-in, you can throw nuns off skyscrapers.
Check out all the photos of Shia LaBeouf and his injured hand in the gallery.

So someone drinking hours before they drove can't be drunk later? It's amazing how much stoopid there is in Hollywood.
