Lauren Conrad - 2008 Teen Choice Awards

Lauren Conrad has been plagued with rumors that her foray into fashion design has been pretty unsuccessful, with her clothing line reported to have been recently dropped from Kitson amidst rumors that the star of The Hills isn't even designing the duds. Meanwhile, every teenage runaway within 50 miles of L.A. seems to be snatching up Heidi Montag's slutty designs.

In response, Conrad told Life & Style, "It's a ridiculous rumor. I do all my own designs." She also claims her line is doing so well that she's got new designs planned, including "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, "Holiday," and a "resort collection with a safari-chic theme." That all sounds incredibly wearable!

Meanwhile, she shouldn't get too down on herself, since she was just awarded a surfboard for...well, basically just existing in front of a camera. Conrad snagged the Choice TV Female Reality/Variety Star and Choice TV Celebrity Reality awards. Definitely something for the resume.
