The source of the argument that broke out between Hayden Panettiere's parents Lesley and Alan Panettiere originated with the party the family attended at Eva Longoria's restaurant Beso.
TMZ reports that Alan and Lesley started arguing after the soiree out with their daughter on the way home because Alan believed his wife was "hanging" with someone at the event, therefore "disrespecting" him. Yes, a grown white man used the expression "disrespecting" without a shred of irony.
Reportedly, Alan struck Lesley on the face, leaving a mark on her cheek. The police and paramedics arrived on the scene and photographed Lesley's injuries, even though she refused to be taken to the hospital.
Sounds like a wake-up call to me.
