The star of The Hills and floundering faux fashion designer (OK, she says she's not really floundering) Lauren Conrad is totally psyched to be designing an Emmy dress for one of the trophy girls presenting during the awards.
While LC was hosting a party at the Christian Audigier night club in Vegas, she told People, "It's a huge compliment to be asked to do that, and it was really amazing to be taken seriously."
I'm sorry, I know she's the hero on the show and everything, but the last thing that needs to start happening is that we start taking any numbskulls from these reality shows seriously. I mean, it's not like she's a reality television personality who rose to fame on Project Runway. Her "signature style" consists of pensive looks and mascara streaming down her face.
It's OK to humor these children, but taking them seriously is as dangerous as giving them guns.
