Wetsuit king Michael Phelps won his SIXTH gold medal
at the Beijing Olympics today! For those of you keeping score, that
also means he broke his sixth world record! Well, so what? I can hang a
spoon off my nose? Can he? Doubtful.
He is ONE medal away from Mark Spitz's record of seven.
"To be the most decorated Olympian of all time, it just sounds weird saying it," he added. "I'm speechless. I think it started settling in a little bit after the butterfly. I was trying to focus on my next race, but I kept thinking, 'Wow, greatest Olympian of all time' - It's a pretty cool title."
Ok, Mikey, I know it's a hot section on your resume but it's also good to keep a level head. Don't try and take over Gotham City with your freeze ray or anything.
