The life and career of English soccer star and part-time underwear model David Beckham is such a compelling one that West End producers have decided to craft it into a musical. The production is entitled The Theatre of Dreams and chronicles Beckham's first 33 years of life.
This seems kind of random to me, but here in the States, we went and made Legally Blonde into a Broadway production so I guess anything is possible.
Meanwhile, here's David looking extremely pensive alongside other English footballers at an anti knife crime initiative event in London. How quaint! Not to make a joke out of violent crime, but I love how it's so specific. Like, they couldn't just make it anti-violence? I wonder if there was a separate event to discourage ninja stars and/or kicks to the groin.
