Julianne could do a film in which she stares out a window for two hours, and I'd watch it. She's one of those Streep-like chicks who can do no wrong. Don't believe me? Rent Magnolia sometime. Yeah, it's long and sorta pointless but select the scene in the pharmacy where she's out of her mind on pills and tells the dude behind the counter to "suck her dick." Glorious.
Moore has done a hot new shoot for Wonderland magazine. She's pretty much one of the few women who can pull off a scene in a flick where she has sex with her son (Savage Grace) and I'm like "well, they really liked each other..."

i get her appeal-- she has a rare and somewhat haunting beauty, certainly is incredibly photogenic-- but personally i think she's a very shallow and limited actress. she has a lot of skills, like say nicole kidman or gwyneth paltrow. all of them have been trained to death by the best acting coaches in the world. but none of them can actually emote in a moving way, in my opinion.
i'd vote for toni collette-- her supporting actress in "the hours"-- any day over JM. less gorgeous, yes, but tons more depth and creative vulnerbility.
