Katie Holmes has been rehearsing like a maniac for her Broadway debut in All My Sons
and the very first fruits of her labors can be seen here. These are
some flyers of the actress and her co-stars going up in NYC to promote
the show's upcoming opening.
I'm so sad to report that Suri Cruise is not in any of these pictures. She is my new favorite individual to gossip about, since she seems infinitely more charming and worth writing about than her parents.
I'm pretty sure Katie's texting Suri in these pictures, asking her daughter if they can squeeze in a lunch together after Suri's hair and nail appointments. Suri got upset when she read that haters were talking smack about her chipped nail polish and loose weave.

These flyers are an insult to the cast that really can act: Weist, Lithgow, and Patrick. They are the stars not her. Her face so far has not sold the tickets the producers were hoping for. Unless a miracle occurs she does not have the range, projection, talent or skill to be in this play with these very proven, fine actors. What an abuse of the casting couch--the only reason she is in the play is the fame the producer's thought would produce ticket sales. I certainly don't believe for one moment that she was the best in the auditions.

I could not disagree more with you. She's working hard just like the rest. No diva requirements, no nothing, just a humble actress. Leave her alone already. Ticket sales are doing fine and nobody is giving her more atenttion, if anything stupid tabls and bloggers.

and yes, advance ticket sales have been disappointing. not just according to tabs and bloggers, but several news outlets have reported that as well. just google something like "katie holmes broadway ticket sales" and you'll see for yourself.

The producers and people in charge of casting are the only ones who know for certain if she had the best audition of those who tried out for the part. Not that I'm any huge fan of Katie Holmes, but I'm definitely not a huge fan of people making asinine assumptions about things based on no facts at all.
BTW, of COURSE they are going to pick someone they think is going to be a box office draw - they are in the business of making money. Duh.
