Catherine Zeta-Jones In Mourning

A recently wizened Catherine Zeta-Jones bid farewell to her 91-year-old grandmother who gave her the stage name of "Zeta-Jones."

Catherine joined 150 other mourners, including her oldie husband Michael Douglas to say goodbye to her Nana, who lived in South Wales.

The actress read William Wordsworth's poem Daffodils, which was one of her granny's favorites, at the service.

"The family wish to express their sincere thanks for all the kindness and sympathy extended to them in their bereavement and also to all who attended the funeral," a statement from the family read.

Cathy was pretty close to her Nana, and even left her vacation in Bermuda to bring her flowers for her birthday last year. Losing your Nana is tough. Who is going to urge you to eat more, ignore your obvious homosexuality, and make you awesome French Toast? Our condolences to Catherine.

It was good of you to express condolences. Why was
necessary to say " ignore your obvious homosexuality " ?

Nothing says "I will miss you grandma" like showing your bra at the funeral. Super-classy Catherine!

because, cosina, J is gay and presumably means HIS grandmother urged him to ignore his homosexuality.

We really shouldnt be able to see these photos, Its a FUNERAL for gods sake. Leave them be.

For god's sake, what is the matter with Hollywood these days -- she's dressed SEXY for her grandma's funeral!! I'm guessing she has enough black dresses in her closet and enough "handlers" at her disposal to find a decent outfit to wear to the funeral.

I know what you meant by Nana ignoring your gayness JH. My Nana was the same with my brother.I think she was always hoping he'd settle down with a 'nice girl', bless her. She was from a generation where homosexuality was never mentioned, so basically a lot of people didn't even know what it was. And that didn't make her a bad person, if fact it was endearing as there was a touch of innocence to her. Even my mother didn't know what 'gay' was till my brother told her he was. Now when she sees a guy who is gay (he basically has to be wearing a tutu an screaming before she clicks) she'll say something like 'is he one of those gay fellows?' lol.

The world is a better place with Nanas and Mammys in them. Condolences to CZJ.

I see nothing wrong with her attire...

I think she looks beautiful. Her outfit is fine, fitting her Hollywood personality, but still tasteful. It is touching that in these times of divorce, break-up, family feuds, etc, that someone like CZJ is so close to her family in Wales.
