Laid-back environmentalist Sheryl Crow has launched a line
of budget-conscious, eco-friendly jeans. Here's the "Soak Up The Sun"
singer looking pretty sunny herself at the Las Vegas launch of Bootheel
Trading Co., her denim line she claims is inspired by her personal
vintage denim collection.
In addition to being environmentally friendly (an issue close to Sheryl's heart), the jeans will be affordable for mere mortals like myself. Lamenting the high prices of designer jeans, Crow is going in pretty much the exact opposite direction of fellow celebrity jeans hawker Victoria Beckham (who charges around $400 per pair) and will be selling her wares for less than $100 each.
I like Sheryl. I feel like we would go hiking together if we were friends. In fact, we did go hiking together once. OK, we weren't together, but I did see her while I was hiking in Runyon Canyon and I memorized her license plate number when I saw her get into her car at the bottom of the hill. Kidding! I did see her at Runyon, but I didn't do any of that creepy stuff. Let's be friends, Sheryl. I promise I'm not scary.
