The first promotional shots for Katie Holmes' guest starring episode on ABC's Eli Stone have been released, and they look about the same as the pap shots that came out a long time ago, but are still valuable for a couple reasons.
Reason 1: Katie's bob (Crop? It's really gone beyond a bob cut I think) has grown on me. I'm not mad at it. If she was a lawyer in court, her hair would make me hope she is on my side. Girl looks tough and professional!
Reason 2: The pictures made me IMDB Jonny Lee Miller, and apparently he was married to Angelina Jolie at one time. Who knew? So really, they are just two weirdos sitting on a bench, and it gives me that Forrest Gump happy feeling.
Please tell me you know what feeling I'm talking about, and that I don't belong on the weirdo bench myself...

I totally agree with the Gump atmosphere. Also wondering if this woman made an oath to T.Cruise that if he would allow her to go on stage she would only wear two kinds of clothing: a) His, b) ugly ones.

Unfortch, now he just looks pretty bland. That Angelina sure does wear her men out. Well, actually, Billy Bob still looks a lot like Billy Bob. I don't think he actually ever changes. That may have something to do with Angelina, too, now that I think on it.
As for Katie? Bland, but pretty, before TCat. Bland, middle-aged, and seriously weirding me out, since TCat. Don't care whether she thinks she can act or not. Suspect this may be why Broadway isn't beckoning that loudly in the bums-on-seats department.

He plays a lawyer in this show which is quite good. That may explain the "blandness" to his look.

And as a lawyer, I can tell you that not ALL lawyers look confused, constipated or drunk. Some of us are pretty attractive (IMHO), quite ordered and clear-headed, and do not drink other than after hours. But I do have to admit, that Tracy has pretty much pegged the attorney-look for most of those in our career, unfortunately. I blame law school cafeteria food.
