I swear on the baby Jesus that Bristol Palin and Jamie Lynn Spears shopped for their men at the same country western line dancing bar. As we mentioned previously, Republican Vice-Presidential candidate Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol Palin's sperm donor says that he's a "f*ckin' redneck." And dude backs up his pronouncement with his MySpace declarations.
Levi Johnston says that "I live to play hockey. I like to go camping and hang out with the boys, do some fishing," on his MySpace. That's all well and good. But then he says that if anyone messes with him, he'll "kick ass." How does someone like this get in the Alaskan governor's daughter's pants?
The other problem with this dude is that he's kinda hot despite the mullet. And he's someone my baby brother would refer to as a "cheesedick." Sigh, it wouldn't be the first cheesedick for me. That came out wrong.

Missy the Republicans are always preaching family and values. The hypocrisy is just being pointed out. If anyone thinks that flaunting an unmarried expectant teenage couple like this is family values and a good idea, then they deserve Palin, McCain and all the bullshit that they spew.

Further, there has been no hypocrisy in regards to the Palins. I'm sure they continue to stand by their values and principles.
Parents can instill all those things in their child and that child can still make different choices and then have to deal with the subsequent responsibilities.
That doesn't mean that the values the Palin children have been taught are weak or incorrect. It means the daughter made an error in judgment that she is now taking responsibility for.

I can understand why this situation might be viewed as hypocritical, however Sarah Palin is not a proponent of abstinence-only education, she actually believes that abstinence should be taught with basic sex ed but that birth control should not be distributed or financially supported by schools. Big difference.
