And that finger was probably in her during her mother
Sarah Palin's dumbass speech at the RNC.
Levi Johnston, aka
"F*cking Redneck", is the Alaskan mountainteen that
knocked up the potential vice-president's daughter Bristol Palin. To show his devotion to her,
he has her name tattooed around his ring finger.
That's wicked sweet. How did he get past security? Where does the
Alaskan governor live anyway? In a ice fishing shack in Anchorage?
Bristol
is also apparently wearing an engagement ring. Levi flew to Minnesota
to accompany Bristol at Day 3 of the Republican Nation Convention on
Wednesday and was "warmly greeted" by John McCain. For real? He's
against gay marriage but teenage Alaskan rednecks who get their fingers
tattooed with each other's names should totally marry and breed? I
quit.

Jay Jay Jay :-) I'm totally with you but you're gonna anger your republican readers.
Everything about the MacCain/Palin ticket is a joke! Last night Giuliani's foaming hateful mouth, Sarah Palin's fact lacking speech and Cindy McCain's crazy dress (eyes, hair) was so hard to watch. I wanted to reach into my TV and slap them senseless.
Annie says:
I don't remember coming to this site becuase I want to know how you feel about politics - just give me the juicy gossip and that's all I need from you.
hailie says:
you all must be kidding me! Palin gave the best speech there was in both the conventions combined. give me a break! trust me when i say i am not a republican, ive been a democrat all my life, but can you really trust somone with a resume as small as obamas? come on, mccain has fought for this country. barack has just modeled on the covers of magazines...
S_M_G says:
I love when people claim they are republicans when they want to trash reps and claim they are democrats when they want to bash dems.
Sorry Hailie, don't believe you.
Palin's speech was uninspiring and flat. The only reason people thought it was a good speech was because NOBODY had ANY expectations from her. Noone knew her. She sounded like a good politician instead of a pageant queen and everyone is in awe now. Gimme a break!

Sorry for the double post. It said page load error when I tried to post it the first time. You guys have to fix the comments, it takes hours to post something.

Jealous much of them?
Commoner says:
You want to lap them senseless, but THEY'RE hateful. Anyone have a mirror for S_M_G?
S_M_G says:
Haha, good point. I usually use "slap" for getting a kid in order. I didn't say I wanted to kill them or strangle them just slap them into reality.
Commoner says:
Oh, a "snap out of it" slap, not an angry slap. That's fine then.
I thought her speech was good. Too sarcastic, though, for someone who's campaigning to be one 72-year old heartbeat away from the presidency.

One 72-year old heartbeat away from presidency :-)) Too funny and yet too sad.
IF McCain wins he'd better live! Palin's one sided mind is too dangerous.
T-Bone says:
I thought Sarah Palin's speech was great! She's been attacked by the Democrats and the media. She had every right to respond the way she responded. You may not agree with her on the issues, but she definitely exudes confidence, strength and charisma. Her speaking style is just as good as Obamas.
I, personally, think the election just got a little more interesting because of her. She can definitely hold her own.
sluttienna&Whoralina says:
Classic example of not practicing what you preach. Sarah Palin is an idiot and the way they flaunted this teenaged unmarried couple is just sickening. Does Palin and McCain have any idea what kind of messages their sending to teens. Yes, fuck, procreate and your rich parents will take care of your. What a fucking bunch of crock.
Commoner says:
What was the 17 year old preaching that she wasn't practicing? Try to make sense, sluttienna, this is an important political blog.
S_M_G says:
LMAO@ the political blog comment.
Palin preaches abstinence instead of sex education.Brostol is a victim of her mother, I doubt SHE was preaching abstinence.
Commoner says:
Right, so Sarah was doing the preaching, and not practicing what her mom preaches makes Bristol a...normal kid.
S_M_G says:
Yep, I feel bad for her children. It's not their fault.
S_M_G says:

Commoner says:
If only someone had told her about condoms? Come on, telling your kids not to have sex doesn't cause pregnancy.
S_M_G says:
No, telling your kids not to have sex doesn't cause pregnancy BUT supressing and ignoring their urges, not EDUCATING them about birth control does. If she would talk about sex with her kids, if she could be open enough that her daughter would come to her about getting on the pill she wouldn't have to brow up so fast.

Commoner says:
Maybe, but at 17, I'd be surprised if she didn't know what she needed to know about birth control, whether or not she had discussed it with her mom. The fact that she got pregnant doesn't mean she was ignorant. Obviously, informed adult women have accidental pregnancies all the time.
Good looking couple, by the way, though I can't imagine they'll make it. It's hard enough when you get married at 30.
S_M_G says:
How's the test going Dave? :-))
Yeah good looking couple. The whole Palin family is gorgeous.
Cat says:
JAY.....better quit while somewhat ahead!! I'm proud to be AMERICAN!! As Palin said in her speech last night. However, Obama's wife (STUPID woman) said she finally or she think she finally figured it out from her quote "might" be proud to be AMERICAN. Think want this woman next to her husband when trying to make a simple or responsible decisions? NOT!!
Amanda says:
McCain doesn't agree with same sex marriage, but consistently votes against constitutional amendments to ban it, preferring to leave the decision to states. This is not the direction that liberal Golden Boy Former President Clinton chose when he put his support behind the "Defense of Marriage Act".
I happened to really enjoy Sarah Palin's speech.
S_M_G says:
Leaving the decision to states translates to chickening out of making the decision. You leave it up to the state, the state votes as it wishes and you get your votes in the end, everybody is happy. You seriously fall for that?
Commoner says:
Yes, it's called federalism. The Constitution says (paraphrasing) that all powers not expressly granted to the Federal government are reserved to the states. The Constitution doesn't say anything about marriage, so it's left to the states. Thus the "need" to amend the Constitution rather than simply pass a law.

But what can I say? I work. I work hard and I don't expect to just belly up to the table and have the government provide me with sustenance and housing. That said. Jay. T'was a time when you were funny. T'was a time when you were entertaining. Now, you're just another bloody, fucking bore using your unique position at ASL as your own political forum. Honey, you're just not bright enough to be a political commentator. You can't spell worth beans. You frequently make stupid mistakes (example, "America's Next Mediocre Model Gets Disappointing Ratings" "a girl born into a girls body". Did you not mean "a boy born into a girls body"???) Not to mention the fact, you think people in Denmark speak Dutch. My God, what a way to give ALL of Europe more ammunition to refer to Americans as "Ugly Americans". Way to go Jay, you just set us back 50 years with that one. So PLEASE..... Just forget your own personal agenda, we all know you're gay, we don't give a rats ass about that. We just want you to revert to your wicked sense of humour, and STOP trying to shove your politics down our throats. OK?

Camille says:
Hmmm...I'm not sure why people are saying that the media is attacking Palin. The bloggers are doing so, but the mainstream media is fawning over her. (And don't count gossip rags as mainstream media) Also, she's a good speaker and her speech was great?!?! Really? Her voice is barely tolerable and the speech itself was mediocre. Albeit she was better than all the other speakers at the RNC, but that doesn't say much, now does it? Obama, both Clintons, Gore, Beaux Biden, Ted Kennedy, Dennis Kucinich (come on, it was a motivating speech) gave far superior speeches. She lacks the charisma, eloquence, intelligence and compassion of Obama and Biden (well, only the last two for Biden, but that's more than McCain and Palin). Yes, I guess that would make them "elitist," but I would never want an average joe in office. We already have one of those in office screwing up our country.
Nobody says:
Beau Biden gave a good speech? Give me a break - "my father was blue collar - I had to pull myself up - blah blah blah..." --- B. f'in S.! He's the attorney general of PA - you don't get in a position like that without having connections - he hasn't had to work for a thing in his life.
Sarah says:
Hey now. I'm a republican and I come here to read your funny jokes about celebrities, but you're going to drive your republican readers off by calling her speech "dumbass". I didn't think it was a dumbass speech at all. If anything, it seemed she had a good grip on things, especially knowing that everyone around her was judging her for her teenage daughter being pregnant. Don't attack her speech and everyone around her simply because you disagree with one trait of the republican party (gay marriage). I don't agree with abortion but I don't sit here and smash democrats to pieces for it.
dcgal says:
She's a hick and in 9-weeks she will be back chasing caribou where she belongs.
Zelda F. says:
Oops. Girl born into a boys body.
And Camille, if you look back at history, Bush simply inherited this whole bloody Taliban / Osama mess from Clinton. Clinton only put his foot down and fired a few diversionary missiles when Monica was caught crawling around under his desk. Clinton just left his mess for the next administration to clean up.
Lovey says:
Jay you haven't changed - you're still hysterical. LOVE HIM!
I think Sarah Palin is just what the Republicans need - her family is the example of what we aspire to in the party - shotgun weddings, unprotected teenage sex, boyfriends who pride themselves on being rednecks and condescending, finger pointing speeches with no agenda for the country. And it feels real good to show other people how tough we are ....
And BTW, let's not slam education/abstinence, backwoods hockey players who think they're tough, underage pregnant teens, or tattoos (won't he love that when he's 35 and single?) - it all brings back memories of my own small hometown near Canada.
krystyn says:
Actually, let's really look back at history and see that Osama Bin Laden's reputation has been well known and documented since the Reagan Administration. That would be through terms of both Democrats and Republicans.
Its silly, petty and frankly dangerous to blame terrorism on a US Political Party. Either one.
However, one thing Bush DID inherit from Clinton was a record SURPLUS and a humming economy.
Too bad Bush messed that one up.
