A beautiful butterfly from a cocoon of crazy, Britney Spears scored
three awards at the VMAs last night, including Video of the Year for
"Piece of Me." She also scored Best Female Video, and Best Pop Video.
Other winners included gum merchant Chris Brown, who won Best Male Video for "With You." Linkin Park (they're still around?) won Best Rock Video for "Shadow of the Day." And Lil' Wayne won Best Hip-Hop Video for "Lollipop." Shawty want a thug, bottles in day club! That's my record! Ok, it's probably not MY record, it really belongs to all of us. Oh, and Tokio Hotel (they look like gay anime) won "Best New Artist", beating out Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Jordin Sparks and Taylor Swift.

i cant believe she won..hooray!! NOT!! that is bullshit!! im not a britney hater ..i dig all artist..but give the credit where it is due! her video was a basic dance along video..any pop artist could have done that and lost..all b/c her name is on it...ive seen so many artistic videos this past year that should have been nominated and won. this was just a pity party for her...i hope she gets better but damn...vid of the year..and those other b.s. awards she won...mtv is losing credibility
