Butterfly empress Mariah Carey is now flying solo after letting go of her manager Benny Medina, according to a source that dished to Page Six. Reportedly, Carey was displeased by rumors that Medina was trying to regain his erstwhile client Jennifer Lopez and Mimi was not trying to hear that. You do not want to get on Mariah's bad side.
Benny's spin on the situation is as follows: "I just had lunch with Mariah today. We're restructuring her company and streamlining it. That's all." In addition to being dropped by Tyra Banks and most recently Usher, this is a major blow to Medina's client list.
I would absolutely love for Mariah's hubby Nick Cannon to start managing her. Why? Because I now that Britney Spears is back on track, I need a new hot mess on which to focus my energy.
