This is grisly. UFC Fighter Evan Tanner's body was found in the California desert yesterday after he went missing.
Friends report that Tanner had gone on some sort of adventure quest alone on Friday, and had texted a friend later the same day that he was out of water and needed help. That's scary.
"I plan on going so deep into the desert, that any failure of my equipment could cost me my life," he blogged last month. Tanner's blog also featured a song by Eddie Vedder off the Into the Wild soundtrack. The movie's about a kid who goes off into the wilderness searching for adventure, and uh, dies. Ouch.
