The artist (who was born in Haiti) and charitable actor toured cities distributing food through Wyclef's charity foundation Yele Haiti. The two are hoping to help the UN raise over a $100 million U.S. dollars for the Caribbean country.
"Hopefully we can make enough noise that people will pay attention," new daddy Matt said to the press. "I truly believe in the people of my country."

that's nice.

Thanks for reporting on that. Haiti is such a forgotten country in so much need and generally not sexy enough for celebrities to visit or care about. I liked Matt Damon before but this impresses me, that he actually visited and saw what has happened there from the hurricanes in part because it can be dangerous for aid workers. Wyclef is making good change in Haiti, too. It's nice to see he hasn't forgotten the need in where he came from.
