Sometimes clown ghost Courtney Love emerges from hiding for a rare appearance in public while shopping in Malibu. The Hole singer was spotted by the paparazzi reading The Crystal Bible and I'm wondering if she didn't mean to pick up The Crystal Method Bible...or simply confused the book for a crack pipe.

i dont understand the politics and corruption in courtneys life, but at the end of the day- she is making her own choices in her life- she has far more opportunities and money to get the best help avaliable- the real issue here is what message is she giving her child-? who has already lost her dad - just another kid fucked up for the rest of their life trying to understand why her parents didnt love her enough to live or kick drug habits-despite having all the money and help they could get. selfish and pathetic!

Hey, I'm a couple years older than Courtney, and I don't look so hot without makeup either. She looks perfectly coherent in the reading photo. The other two just look like an aging woman without makeup who doesn't photograph particularly well.
I'd still rather look at her than Madonna. Now that woman is scary looking.
