I've been a big fan of Bernhard's -- attended her cabaret show -- and it's no secret that Sandra considers herself an honorary "sista" and says pretty outrageous things, but as a Black woman, the "stay out of Manhattan because (Palin) would be gang-raped by my big, black brothers" comment is not witty, but insidious. This almost seems like a warning some regressive-Whites would give to their daughters to discourage them from going to "the big city"! I've ("we've") loved you, San -- but with friends like this....
