Celebrities walked the red carpet last night -- some to promote their
favored candidates and other just to promote the importance of the
upcoming election. Television legend Norman Lear hosted the
DeclareYourself.com "Domino Effect" party held at the Green Door as "a
final push to get young people to register and vote."
Hayden Panettiere made a quick stop, but didn't have any words for Socialite Life. She had In Style magazine's correspondents move from their perch on the carpet near the exit so she could talk to them about... style or something. I thought that was odd for someone who seems outspoken about important causes. She must not be too worried about promoting her new album.
Adrienne Bailon, Cheetah Girl and future Kardashian-in-law was happy to discuss her life and upcoming album, which she will be recording while on tour with her other Cheetahs. The busy girl is looking forward to working with R&B genius Ne-Yo. Every singer wants their claws in him!
Others present at the event included HSM3's Corbin Bleu, Danity Kane with Aubrey O'Day's poor dog, and Zachary Quinto as well as some kids from Downer's Grove on the WB.com who walked the carpet twice in an attempt to convince the photogs they should have more photos taken. Is the economy so bad that no one has a publicist to control their desperate urges? I need a mom-ager to step in already.
