Nina Garcia will not have this! She will pummel some network
executives. The suits over at NBC Universal (which owns Bravo) have
successfully filed an injunction preventing Weinstein Co. from giving Lifetime the job of running Project Runway over at their network. "Slutty, slutty, slutty" as Michael Kors would say. "I have nothing to say," as Meana Garcia would say. Except I do.
The new season was supposed to debut on Lifetime in January of next year, but it looks like that isn't happening. I will seriously put a rattlesnake in someone's PO box if I don't get my ProjRun fix next year. This season has been a bit of a letdown, and we've been forced to contend with that Bettie Page-impersonating twat Kenley, who makes me break out in hives from her giggly stank. We need a new season as soon as possible!
"The overwhelming evidence demonstrated that the Weinstein Company violated NBC Universal's right of first refusal to future cycles of Project Runway. After hearing all of the evidence, the court issued an order prohibiting the Weinstein Company from taking the show or any spinoff to Lifetime," NBC Universal said in a statement.
The Weinstein Co. intends to appeal. They damn well better. I need this show on the air. I'm ready to don a yellow dress along with Nina and roll up on someone to air my grievances. And you don't want to see me in yellow. You wouldn't like me in yellow.
