It was a hot red carpet for the premiere of The Secret Life of Bees with the film's star Queen Latifah sporting a new, blonde do and some stunning dark lipstick. It's sort of the look that Jennifer Lopez was sporting at the launch of her new fragrance, but I feel like Latifah did it better.
Jennifer Hudson looked fantastic in a midnight-blue dress that gathered in all the right places. I'm sad I don't see fellow co-stars Alicia Keys and Sophie Okonedo, since I would have loved to see what they would have worn.
Jada Pinkett-Smith had some playful jet black curls and a gorgeous beaded cocktail dress that perfectly complemented her husband Will Smith's suit. Or is the other way around? Either way, this supposedly non-Scientology pair always look great together. They have to stay together because the missed photo opportunities would be too depressing.
Oh yes and the young ones behaved, with Dakota Fanning in a simple black sleeveless dress (although, I'm still trying to decide how I feel about those purple shoes) and 90210's Tristan Wilds flashing a winning smile in an all black suit.
Everybody looked great, in these dark, rich colors that hint at the impending season change. Seriously, I'm ready for the cool weather.

Latifah just needs to come out of the closet and stop trying so hard to hide who she really is....a lesbian....nothing wrong with that.....go on sister tell us who you really are....what are you scared of......and Jada Pinkett Smith) looks like a guy in drag....how could she come out looking like that.....she looks all out of shape in that dress and the way that wig just sits on her head...girl, get real. I got a laugh out of that crazy get-up she's wearing. She's looking old too. Two black sisters...one's a lesbian and the other a drag- something.
