Sherri Shepherd Goes Off On Elizabeth Hasselbeck

Since Elizabeth has access to all of this information on Barak Obama and his associations, and proof of their nefarious dealings, she should bring in that list and read it on air unchallenged, and then the information she provided should be investigated...again. If and when she is proven wrong she should have to stand in front of the camera and apologize to anyone she has offended. If she is proven right then all of the ladies on The View should have to stand in front of the cameras and apologize. I suspect that their will only be one face in front of the camera offering apologies. All of this before the election takes place.

I agree with you, Kitty. Every news organization (except Faux News) has debunked the entire notion of Barack's ties with Ayers. Yes, he knew the man, but to say that he associates with "known terrorists" is insane! Ayers was never convicted. And the last time I checked, our criminal system is still based on the fundamental idea that there is a presumption of innocence until proven guilty. Barack was 8 years old when Ayers was SUSPECTED of terrorist acts, for Pete's Sake!

I grew up in L.A. in a not so nice neighborhood. I knew plenty of gang members because those were the people who were around. The fact that I once knew these people does not make ME a person of dubious character because that is not who I ever was. The same should go for Barack.

Hassleb*tch is the epitome of an ignorant, brain-washed American. She probably just agrees with her husband on everything, and then takes the "stand by your man" approach on t.v. while debating.

Had to quit watching the View when her and Rosie had their tiff. She really knows how to show her true colors on national t.v. Hopefully she will be the next one to get the boot since all she seems to do is relentlessly rile everyone else up for the sake of trying to look like the good guy in the end ("calm down Sherri, relax, you're taking it so personal"... etc.) and to try and prove some point that she thinks she has.

As long as she is on the show and keeps inserting her high-priced, well-manicured feet into her mouth Babs' ratings are sure to go down. Who wants to see a nobody from a reality show act like she knows something about this country anyway. (Although the shorts of her idiotic and defenseless rants are a trip.)

She makes women in my age group look really bad.

Still amazing it takes 4 liberals to out think a conservative. Most of the time its just the combined voices yelling over her so she cant make her point. Barack IS corrupt and is obvious by how much $$$ (100k+) he took from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac so they would ignore the crisis we are dealing with right now. Oh yes and that CAN be verified.

I can't believe this argument. People have lost their homes,jobs and savings. The Country is in financial disarray. And what is the big discussion. Did Barack know this man. I know a lot of people. I am not responsible for the choices they make. I don't understand this diversion from the real issues. Elizabeth has her opinions. The other ladies have theirs. George Bush ruined this country in 8 years. She has yet to admit that he has done a horrible job as president. I understand standing by your party, but get real. McCain is not talking about the issues anymore. He does not have a plan to talk about. Its just what George has done for the past 8 years. Lets get back to what matters, not Who did he know and when? The country deserves more than this kind of crap, and should demand more.

I wish Whoopi Goldberg was able to finish her point about Reverend Wright. I hate how in this post-911 world you're supposed to kiss American soil, no matter the racism or inequality you face. If you grow up with money and privileged, it's a lot easier to say you're proud of your country since the system works for you. People here do not have the same experiences or receive the same treatment.
I don't hate the U.S. But I think it's wrong to judge others for saying anything other than "I LOVE USA!"
I love how Elizabeth is telling Sherri to calm down and stop taking it so personally when she acts like that all the time, screaming her arguments and trying to talk over everyone like a 5 year old.

Elisabeth is very narrow minded, she's very mouthy and over-reacts until she pisses someone off.

Elizabeth was arrogant and dismissive to Sherri -- repeatedly sneering at her to calm down -- and then the VERY next moment what does Elizabeth do: she rants and freaks out!

I absolutely hate her and wish the View would fire her already. Different points of view are fine but she is antagonistic, rude, holds herself to a different standard with ZERO self awareness and is largely unpleasant on every level -- her ego is disgusting.

Please someone -- please -- get rid of her already! I am A-OK with having both Republicans and Democrats having a voice on that show, but do they need the stereo-typical evil right-winger? She is just ugly nasty awful.

I agree that Elizabeth doesn't always make the right argument and cannot always clearly express her point, but, how fair is it to her to go on national television everyday knowing 4 other hags are going to argue with you? Babs' statement at the end is a incredibly transparent way of trying to come across as mature while secretly celebrating the latest throwdown for ratings. I didn't need to hear the end of Whoopi's statement about Rev. Wright to know I wouldn't have liked it. The statements he's made are clearly radical and racist, and these are the ones we know about. To defend him is something else entirely. This goes for all parties on the View - you're so blinded by adoration for your favorite candidate you can't see the truth.

They all sound like a bunch of clucking hens. They need to learn how to openly discuss issues from both sides. Not one of them has any objectivity so it's pointless to listen to.

The view makes me sick. Its ridiculous that out of the 1,000 tv and news show hypnotized by Obama, this one young conservative girl can't be heard. What is so awful that she's bringing up ACCURATE connections Obama has to these people? Why are we not allowed to look into this man or we will be called "racist"? The 2008 presedential motto should be : Freedom of speech.......if you're for Obama!

Hate to burst your bubble, but Hasselbeck speaks the truth. Fact check it in your pipe and smoke it : CNN has a video with Anderson Cooper (who is obviously peeved that he is forced to bring his communist party to light on television) that details Obama's blatant cover-up of his association with Bill Ayers. Opensecrets.org shows that Obama is bank-rolled by Fannie/Freddie. Best of all, search for an NY Times article from 1999 on Fannie/Freddie, which clearly states that banks were pushed to offer subprime loans to unqualified applicants by the Clinton Administration.

I can't watch The View anymore. It is so liberl-heavy it makes me ill. All they do is gang up on Elizabeth b/c she is the only one with a differing view. All the rest of them do is trash talk conservatives and pat each other on the back about how right their liberal thinking is. They need to even things out and get another conservative, or just get rid of Elizabeth and rename the show The Liberal View. At least that way people will really know what the show is all about.

I stopped watching the show awhile ago I don't believe anyone really gets there point across and I think that the show really is not that spontaneous. It is about the ratings. What upsets me the most is that people are so angry purely based on the color and nationality of a group of people not on the individual acts of a human being. And alot of these agressive angry comments are coming from women,mothers, nurses, teachers, grandmothers...supposidly compassionate and nurturing human beings...too me that is more frightening than any one good or bad president. These women are raising more humans to be judgmental and bitter and evil based on appearances. I only hope that your children always have the finest never fall on hard times and are never in a position to be judged based soley on appearance. You women have defeated this country long before any election.

I hope Barbara Walters can see how Hassleb*tch is hurting her show.
