Cloris Leachman, the 82-year-old crazy who is dancing her way into the hearts of America on Dancing With the Stars, has been announced
as the 2009 Rose Bowl Grand Marshal. The Oscar and eight time Emmy
winner said she is thrilled to be the grand marshal of a parade that
she seemed very pleased to announce, "is older than I am."
My mother has always been obsessed with the Rose Bowl Parade. No one in my family has the patience to sit and watch it with her, but if this classy broad is at the front I might make it through the first 5 minutes or so.
Cloris better be attempting the tango around a float with a rose in her mouth. I would expect nothing less out of that lovable old ding dong.
