Republic vice-presidential elder zombie candidate John McCain finally made it on to David Letterman's show last night after his bullshit cancellation on Sept. 24.
If you'll recall, McCain told Letterman that he was suspending his
campaign to save our economy. But Dave was then given access to a feed
of Old Man River getting his makeup done for an interview with Katie Couric.
Dave, who can get a little salty, spent the entire episode ranking on McCain's ass. Anyway, McCain came by last night to apologize.
"I screwed up. What can I say?" he said. "Look at all the conversation I gave you,"
Yeah, thanks, Pops. Letterman also grilled McCain on his laughable choice of a VP running mate. You know, the beauty queen who can see Russia from her house?
"In your guts, in your stomach," asked Letterman, "if I were to run upstairs and wake you in the middle of the night and say, 'John, is Sarah Palin really the woman to lead us through the next four, eight years - through the next 9/11 attack?'"
"Absolutely. She has inspired Americans. That's the thing we need," McCain answered.
Well, she does like guns. And she can defend us again marauding Russians from her front yard.

marie says:
no! not you. i love your site but after this hate against senator Mccain I will never come back here. why you don't make fun of Obama Osama?there is more reasons on him to laught about it.
Sarah (NOT Palin) says:
Yeah...the truth hurts!
I'm going over to CBS & watching the whole thing!!!
T-Bone says:
Senator McCain deserves respect. He's been serving the public for a very long time, including fighting for this country. You may not agree with his political stance, but he has certainly put in his time, earned the respect of great people (both Democrats and Republicans), has the experience, and maintains a proven track record. Can't say the same for Obama who has no track record, no experience, not much time served, no experience fighting for this country and is simply riding on the stupidity of the American people and their love of charisma, charm and celebrity. Ridiculous!
T-BONEISANIDIOT says:
McCain is a vile nasty little piece of shit who has no respect for common decency. He openly refers to the Vietnamese as gooks yet doesn't see himself as a racist. If he was a respectful man he would dissuade his supporter from yelling "kill him, kill him." His arrogance is astounding. What respect he had earned has been lost on a little man who has turned this presidential race into a laughing stock. He is completely out of touch with the vast majority of Americans, who happen to be intelligent, educated, and aware of what has become of us as a nation.
THE MCCAIN/PALIN SUPPORTERS ARE REDNECK IDIOTS WHO PROBABLY STILL USE OUTHOUSES.
MCCAIN IS A PRIME EXAMPLE OF WHITE PRIVILEGE IN AMERICA.
Xicana says:
Just because because McCain has donned a military uniform does not mean that he is above reproach. Nor does it mean that he deserves MORE respect than someone who did not pursue a military career. That's just nonsense and I'm tired of people saying that.
One of my sisters (who is a year younger than I) served in the Air Force Intelligence for over 8 years, four of those during the Afghanistan and Iraq war, and some of that oversees. I love and respect her immensely. Even with her years of incredible service, she would NEVER try to advance that idiotic argument that I can NEVER call her out on her shit simply because she was in the military. She knows, as should McCain supporters, that the military does not give one carte blanche.
Good-bye Marie! We hardly knew thee!
T-BONEISANIDIOT says:
John McCain is an idiot and the worst example of white privilege in America. What respect he had earned has been squandered by his infantile behavior and astounding sense of entitlement. This man is a disgrace. He has no problems or doesn't see anything wrong with calling Vietnamese gooks. If he had any decency when his supports shout "kill him, kill him" he would repudiate them. But not the arrogant out out touch McCain. The Americans who put Bush in the white house are the same fucking idiots that what to subject us to McCain and Palin. Two people who are probably the most dangerous politicians ever elected to public office.
Nebraska librarian says:
If he's a dumbass, what exactly does that make Obama? At least McCain's not the worst example of unAmerican behavior in political history.
