Few things keep me from feeling annoyed that I'm working on the weekend and seeing these adorable pictures of Suri Cruise traipsing through New York City with her father Tom Cruise by her side is one of them.
Wearing a fetching floral-print dress and her trademark Maryjanes, Suri urges her dad to take them out for ice cream at Sundaes and Cones. And as we all know, what Suri wants, Suri gets.
Rather than risking facing the wrath of a disapproving Madame Suri, Tom obliges his little girl by allowing her to lead the way. It's a wise decision he made. She may be adorable, but she handles a mean switchblade.

Good suggestion to put on a sweater, but have you ever tried to put any garment on a child who will just plain NOT HAVE IT? I suspect that's why Tom is holding the blanket over her legs...because Suri would NOT endure a sweater or coat. Just a guess, of course.
Same deal if she doesn't want her hair cut. Sometimes it's just easier, especially for new parents, to just let the little things go. Again, I'm just guessing.
Suri obviously has her daddy wrapped around her finger. She's very cute and, hopefully, not getting so spoiled that she'll grow to be obnoxious.

autismmom, she does smile...and she does make eye contact. (I've seen pics on various web sites...) I don't think she's autistic, but you're right that she'd be fuct if she were.
my issue with them is not how they dress her (devil is right about some kids just NOT having it) but that she doesn't seem to have any friends. you only see her "playing" out and about with her mother or her father.
sure, she's got all the toys she wants, all to herself, but no friends to share them with, or to learn HOW to play with other kids. unfortunately, devil, I think spoiled and obnoxious is EXACTLY how she'll turn out.
that being said, I do think she is absolutely adorable.

I've heard Brooke Shields and Victoria Beckham both talk about Suri playing with their children. I'm sure she plays with children of other people they are friends with. I just don't think that she plays with any strangers' kids...and understandably so, the Beckham's had to deal with attempted kidnapping incidents. So, I'm not surprised that celebs are protective and don't just let their kids mix in with strangers.
